The blurry part is not a crime. Blur can make good photographs. It's not about the technical perfection, sometimes it can be about mood, atmosphere, stories. This one shows character, male vanity, like in the movie American psycho. The concentrated look in his eye shows he's busy working on a photograph, unaware of the viewer (because at first it wasn't his intention to make this one public). That's the charm of this one shot. It's hounest.

I see many things in this photo that are worthy of interest.
Why would someone that obviously takes such good care of themselves be so careless in picking such a dark, blurry photo to submit? The tiles look dirty, or are they painted with a design that is obscured by the blur?
As Arne said, this is a photo of a moment, an action, a process, not a finished portrait of a model to be submitted to a magazine.
All of the crits so far on this photo demonstrate to me that this is not a failure as a piece of art - look at the emotion it has elicited so far! The interpretation of a piece of art by an audience can sometimes define the significance of it - whether or not it was intended by the artist in the first place.
